Given that there are not many options for dining outside the resort, all meals will be provided on campus (including Saturday and Sunday). You’ll just need to inform us in advance on Friday evening if you will be eating on campus that weekend. Many students often leave on the weekends to go sightseeing, trekking, shopping, etc., so we want to ensure no food is wasted. Weekend meals are complimentary from Siddhi Yoga.

From the history of yoga to human anatomy and physiology, we’ll cover topics you didn’t even know existed.
This is not a training course that simply has its students practice for eight hours a day. No, this is a course that will help students become teachers, as well as cultivate a solid physical and spiritual practice.
We’ll cover meditation, chakras and pranayama. You’ll go from practicing yogi to full-time yogi in the course of a month.
However, we want to make sure you maintain balance in your life. That’s why we’ve created our program to include excursions and free time to explore your surrounding area. We’ll hold bonfires, prayer sessions and kirtan, and there are plenty of other activities around the city to keep you busy each weekend.
As for what you’ll learn throughout the course, the list is endless. But to give you an idea, we’ll cover:
We offer a breath-based instructor training, which means your breath will guide you through the proper posture. The improper use of the muscles involved in breathing, such as the diaphragm, leaves other muscles strained with overuse, a prime physiological reason for muscle stress injuries.
However, an undeveloped breathing pattern is a powerful source of numerous psychological problems as well. This is why, along with the proper poses and counter-poses, specific pranayama practices will be taught to bring the body into perfect equilibrium.
Postural adjustment through yoga asana is a traditional and unique scientific practice. Yoga teachers and therapists with knowledge of this specific technique can help practitioners use their bodies in a more balanced and correct way, both in their yoga practice as well as daily life.
Additionally, you will be taught the importance of a proper muscle warm-up to prevent injury and help future students into poses more safely. We’ll discuss the use of props like blocks, blankets, chairs, bolsters, etc. to reap the full benefits of asana and to promote healing and recovery from injuries while aiding in proper bodily alignment.

Life changing experience which can definitely be recommended to anyone! My lower back pain of 20 years was cured within 2 weeks partly because of core exercises we were given but I also think the physiotherapeutical angle to the yoga we were taught helped. Complimentary items for the Dharamshala training
You will need to buy your international air ticket for New Delhi. From there we advise following one of two options to travel to Dharamshala, where we’ll pick you up:
By Air : Dharamshala airport is known as Gaggal Airport. There are two flights from Delhi to Dharamshala – Air India (one flight a day) and Spicejet (one flight a day, occasionally they have a second flight). Both flights start in the morning with an hour difference. You must be at the New Delhi airport by 8AM for all flights. Airfare is between 5500 INR and 12,000 INR. The earlier you book, the more you save. Fares and availability of seats in the flight change constantly and can be checked/booked online via www.makemytrip.com or www.yatra.com. It is advisable to book through Spicejet, as their service is quite reliable and cancellations are minimal. If you choose this option, please inform us of your arrival details for Dharamshala. Remember to check the weight limit for your domestic flight. Usually it’s 15KG and if you need extra weight, it’s recommended to buy in advance.
By road in air-conditioned bus: Taking a bus from Delhi to Dharamshala is much cheaper than flying. Busses start around 5PM-6PM every day and reach Dharamshala early in the morning. Bus tickets cost around 1200 INR. We can assist you to book your ticket via www.redbus.in, as the site requires a local phone no. and local card. You can pay us later upon arrival. Bus booking opens one month before the travel date. You can take a pre-paid taxi from Delhi Airport to the reach bus boarding point, Delhi.
For Option 1, we will pick you up from the Dharamshala airport; for Option 2, we will pick you up from Dharamshala bus stand.
Note: The nearest international airport to Dharamshala is Amritsar Airport. However, there is no connectivity to the Dharamshala airport from there nor AC bus service. If you plan on selecting this option, you will need to take a taxi from Amritsar, which will cost you around 5,000 INR. We can help you book a taxi if needed.
