Dr. Sumit Sharma uses a dynamic and charismatic approach to Anatomy and Physiology training.

He takes a holistic approach to anatomy and has created a unique way of integrating the human body and yoga asana together to create a deeper understanding of how we move and why we don’t all move in the same way. Based in Rishikesh, Dr. Sumit Sharma can be found teaching in a select number of Yoga Schools.

Dr. Sumit Sharma has taken his teachings across the globe including US, Canada, UK, Australia, Dubai, Bali, and South Africa. He holds a master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, a Diploma in Sports Medicine, and is a certified Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).

He manages to lift Anatomy training off the pages of books and makes it come alive in the classroom, specially devised and specific for Yoga Teachers and Yoga Practitioners. In addition to excellent teaching in Body Alignment, Practical Anatomy and Physiology, Sumit offers Anatomy Healing through the Chakras, Trigger Point Massage techniques and laughter, breath work and movement therapy.

Born in Mumbai, India, Sandeep has been practicing yoga since 1999. His curiosity to understand yoga scientifically led him to study at the Ishwardas Chunilal Yogic Health Centre where he got Advanced Diploma in Yoga Education and trained in acupressure.

Sandeep has worked as a personal yoga and fitness trainer for many years. He has a master’s degree in Philosophy and is pursuing PhD in Yoga from Mumbai University. He is also a certified yoga teacher from Yoga Alliance USA and Yoga Certification Board where he is a yoga examiner.

Sandeep has taught in universities and international yoga teacher training programs in the USA, Singapore, Bali, and Sri Lanka. He believes in lifelong learning and considers every teacher to be a friend, philosopher, and guide.
