Siddhi Yoga’s foundation is a healing-focused therapeutic technique and workout program based on proper alignment, anatomical awareness and education.
Our primary goal is to provide a holistic teacher training program. We want to not only prepare you to be a fantastic yoga instructor, but also to help you grow your practice and learn all aspects of the yogic lifestyle.
This program stretches beyond the physical practice of yoga and dives into the mental and spiritual side, as well. You will be pushed beyond your limits in all areas of life—providing you with the opportunity to grow as a yogi and a human being.
From the history of yoga to human anatomy and physiology, we’ll cover topics you didn’t even know existed.
This is not a training course that simply has its students practice for eight hours a day. No, this is a course that will help students become teachers, as well as cultivate a solid physical and spiritual practice.
We’ll cover meditation, chakras and pranayama. You’ll go from practicing yogi to full-time yogi in the course of a month.
However, we want to make sure you maintain balance in your life. That’s why we’ve created our program to include excursions and free time to explore your surrounding area. We’ll hold bonfires, prayer sessions and kirtan, and there are plenty of other activities around the city to keep you busy each weekend.
As for what you’ll learn throughout the course, the list is endless. But to give you an idea, we’ll cover:
We offer a breath-based instructor training, which means your breath will guide you through the proper posture. The improper use of the muscles involved in breathing, such as the diaphragm, leaves other muscles strained with overuse, a prime physiological reason for muscle stress injuries.
However, an undeveloped breathing pattern is a powerful source of numerous psychological problems as well. This is why, along with the proper poses and counter-poses, specific pranayama practices will be taught to bring the body into perfect equilibrium.
Postural adjustment through yoga asana is a traditional and unique scientific practice. Yoga teachers and therapists with knowledge of this specific technique can help practitioners use their bodies in a more balanced and correct way, both in their yoga practice as well as daily life.
Additionally, you will be taught the importance of a proper muscle warm-up to prevent injury and help future students into poses more safely. We’ll discuss the use of props like blocks, blankets, chairs, bolsters, etc. to reap the full benefits of asana and to promote healing and recovery from injuries while aiding in proper bodily alignment.
Siddhi Yoga’s Teacher Training is the perfect environment to step outside your comfort zone and explore new aspects of yourself. The calming environment will help you tune out and tune in to your deepest self. You’ll have the opportunity to rediscover and reinvent yourself.
You will experience yoga as a lifestyle instead of a simple practice, and you’ll leave ready to begin the journey of your career as a yoga teacher.
This training course follows comprehensive Yoga Alliance guidelines, and complements these with rich teachings of traditional yoga that have been handed down to Indian yoga gurus from their ancestors. This creates a deeply yogic environment, going beyond the asanas to provide a comprehensive learning experience to students.
This certificate is for Multi-Style Yoga where you will get a chance to learn Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, alignments, teaching methodology along with the philosophy and history behind it.

I spend one month in Rishikesh and complete 200hrs YTT with Siddhi yoga. Dr. Sumit has great knowledge in Anatomy, and he always give us the tips that we can use in future teaching. I really enjoyed philosophy class with our teacher Ruchika, her class always catching, deep, but good explained, so I can relate in my real life, she is also a great meditation guide, who has magic can lead you to everywhere. Our multi yoga asana teacher Sumit always give the clear alignment guide on each movement, and gave really helpful tips for future teaching.
The hotel staffs are nice , and can cook delicious food, I won't forget the 'semousa' they made (probably spelled wrong).
I gained so much more than I expected in this one month yoga training course, I'm glad I chose Siddhi yoga in Rishikesh.
I am just coming to the end of my 200hr YTT in Rishikesh! I have loved it!
I have learnt so much from how to live a more balanced life, what to eat, when to eat, how to practice, safe practice, what to practice and how to share a more traditional yogic way.
Training in Rishikesh has filled me with the real energy of India and encouraged me to embrace time in a totally different way and allowed me to feel much more connected to nature and the true essence of life.
I will leave with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration knowing that I will come back soon.
••••If you are thinking of where to do your 200hrTT do it here with Siddhi Yoga••••
I have just completed my 200 hour teacher training in Rishikesh and I have had a wonderful experience. The teachers were very welcoming and knowledgeable and I have learned so much. I definitely recommend Siddhi Yoga as a place to complete your Yoga Teacher Training.
What an incredibly enriching learning experience I've had with Siddhi Yoga in Rishikesh. I have learnt SO much from our amazing teachers. Their knowledge, passion and experience has made this the most awesome place to learn and experience the art of yoga in all it's forms- thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My month in this magical place, will be a part of my life forever. Thanks for the special people on the course who made it so memorable.
I just completed my 200hrs YTT with Siddhi in Rishikesh and have to say how amazing the whole experience has been. Firstly the teachers are the best. So thorough, helpful and knowledgeable. The support staff were also fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The schedule is tough some days but the support you get just gets you through those days. The accommodation is comfortable and well placed with all the things you need to learn and enjoy your stay and always plenty of yogic food to help you in your transition. Rishikesh itself is a very welcoming and warm town, you will make friends, see life and fall in love with this town and with India! From the booking to settling back in at home, the staff hold your hand, see you through and check you after to make sure you are ok. I really can’t recommend Siddhi highly enough - there’s no one else you should think about taking this training with and 5 stars isn’t enough to illustrate how this will change you and stay with you forever. Thanks Meera, Sumit, Sumit, Sandeep, Karan and Kamal - you made it unforgettable.
The course was very intense. The teachers were of the highest quality and very helpful. I felt fully prepared for the world of yoga teaching. I wish I could go back and keep doing Astanga Yoga with Sumit. Rishikesh is beautiful place. I feel so lucky to have had Sandeep as a philosophy teacher and as a Hatha yoga teacher. It was the opportunity of a life time. The team at Siddhi Yoga met every request that I had. The food was delicious and the room was nice. They even gave me a heater because I was there in January and it get cold at night. The quality of the course was very exceptional. I met people from all over the world and made lots of new friend. It was a trip I will never forget.
I attended Siddhi Yoga Rishikesh in January 2018. My feelings are fairly mixed. The teachers were exceptional, and produced a very high quality training, and seem to really believe in improving and educating their students. The accommodation is marketed as basic, but it was definitely less than that, being both filthy and without some basic conveniences. I didn't find Siddhi to be very good as a teacher training course, I would describe it more as a yoga training course. At Siddhi you only have a single, twenty minute experience of teaching your own class, whereas other teacher training courses that friends have attended will have you teaching every day. Rishikesh itself as a city is a really lovely place to spend a month as you learn about Indian culture. I never once felt unsafe and it's surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Full price for our 200-hour Rishikesh teacher training is $1,730 USD. If you apply early, you’ll receive up to a 25% discount.
