Yoga Teacher Training Program in Rishikesh
What You’ll Learn from our Training
At Siddhi Yoga, you’ll learn traditional yoga with detoxification techniques and anatomy. With the help of master teachers, your own practice will deepen as you prepare to teach others.
Being immersed in all aspects of yoga will calm your mind and spirit and prepare you to lead students on their own journeys. There will be an emphasis on breath-based teaching, and you can expect to leave with an understanding of meditation, pranayama, and the chakras. The course covers Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga with Emotional Rebalancing and Naturopathy techniques.
The course follows high-quality standards by including subjects, such as asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation, Anatomy & Physiology, Philosophy/Ethics/Lifestyle, and other traditional yoga techniques. Besides that, Training is customized with a new focus on some other interesting practices listed below that are fundamental to teach Yoga in the proper way.
Emotions play an extremely strong role in one’s life. However, we live in a society where we constantly have to suppress our emotions, which creates emotional blocks. What if something went wrong in the past can’t let us fulfill our quest for knowledge and inner mental wellness? We teach various techniques on “How to Clear Emotional Blocks”. The students firstly experience it first hand and once you learn how to do it on yourself first, you’ll be able to guide your students, helping them ease stress, anxieties, and the traumas. There is going to be some guided practice to understand the huge relationship between emotional accumulation in the body with thought patterns. With these techniques when combining with yoga practice, our graduates would really stand out in guiding people n the yogic path of true happiness.
Self-Healing Through Five (5) Elements
Naturopathy healing is one of the oldest forms of alternative medicine in India. During the course, you are going to learn about basic Naturopathy techniques using the 5 elements (earth, water, fire, air, and space). It not only helps in healing but also boosts your energies. This module offers a unique opportunity to learn how to reconnect through Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Space to rebalance the body and the mind.
Yoga Nidra and Relaxation Techniques
Yoga Nidra is a useful guided yogic practice for deep relaxation, emotional situations management, and stress relief. It is also called “Yogic Sleep” that helps one “to get in and look internally” in order to find the harmony of body, mind, and spirit. You pay close attention to the various parts of the body as you relax. The perception of the various parts is orchestrated by the yoga teacher with the will to create a shiny quiet and a state of deep relaxation. It resolves nervousness, irritability, treats colitis, irritable bowel syndrome and useful against menstrual disorders, dizziness, and hypertension.
Yogic Breathing Techniques
Breathing properly is key to a successful yoga practice. Practicing without the right breath, you will never be able to extract its true potential. As we know, moving with the breath is what can lead a yogi to internal massage, which helps to heal the organs and release tensions. Plus, several yogic breathing techniques are fundamental to deepening your spiritual practice. We will teach you these techniques and how to add them to your movement to gain a deeper experience.

I completed the 200YTT with Siddhi Yoga in Rishikesh in May/June 2018. The course was well structured and paced, leaving a bit of time each week to refresh for the coming weeks. As a relative beginner some of the physical classes were tough, but still enjoyable and every session was a great learning experience. The teachers were very knowledgeable, patient and friendly and made the atmosphere light and fun whilst still educational. Food was great, maybe a little repetitive for some, but if I enjoy something I will eat it, and the style of food is as per the yogic practice, healthy and freshly made. I met great people and learned a lot which was the aim, so overall very happy.
I am just coming to the end of my 200hr YTT in Rishikesh! I have loved it! I have learnt so much from how to live a more balanced life, what to eat, when to eat, how to practice, safe practice, what to practice and how to share a more traditional yogic way. Training in Rishikesh has filled me with the real energy of India and encouraged me to embrace time in a totally different way and allowed me to feel much more connected to nature and the true essence of life. I will leave with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration knowing that I will come back soon. ••••If you are thinking of where to do your 200hrTT do it here with Siddhi Yoga••••

The course was very intense. The teachers were of the highest quality and very helpful. I felt fully prepared for the world of yoga teaching. I wish I could go back and keep doing Astanga Yoga with Sumit. Rishikesh is beautiful place. I feel so lucky to have had Sandeep as a philosophy teacher and as a Hatha yoga teacher. The average cost of a yoga instructor courses ranges from $1000 to $2500. However, some schools also charge $5000 and more. While selecting schools, many students make the mistake of thinking that low cost means low standards. But this is far from reality. Accommodation, Food, Duration of Certification and Location are the major four factors that genuinely influence the cost of TTCs. The low average cost of Indian TTC programs is not indicative of the quality. India has highly knowledgeable yoga gurus who are willing to share their skills with you.
There are many factors to it. It depends upon where they work, how many classes they are teaching in a day, which city they are working in. Take a look at this article about How Much Do Yoga Instructors Make? in more detail.

Applying for a Visa is a very tricky and confusing process, especially for people who are traveling for the first time. But you don’t have to worry. Here we have covered all the necessary details.
Be sure your passport is valid for six months after the time of your arrival.
To attend training, you can use a normal tourist visa. If you are staying 60 days or fewer, you can also apply for an eVisa. You can apply for an eVisa 120 days before your arrival date.
Getting an Indian E–visa is easy and quick; however, it can also reduce your stay. The E–visa is processed within 72 hours, and you are required to apply for it at least four days before your departure. The E–visa cannot be extended, and you are only allowed to apply for it twice a year.
Except for the 17 major Indian airports, the E–visa users are not permitted to use any other arrival terminus. Your passport photos and bio must be scanned/uploaded.
