Gaurav Negi is an Award Winner Fitness Professional at Asia fitness convention in year 2015 & 2016 for his work and contribution in fitness industry in India. He likes outdoor activities like, hiking, climbing, running and cycling and participated in various events like, Marathon running, cycling, circuit breakers etc. He has done his Yoga teacher training diploma of 500 hours from yoga capital Rishikesh, India. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from National Strength and Conditioning Association – NSCA. Gaurav incorporates teaching and coaching of national and international NCCA & REPS accredited Fitness Certifications and workshops. He is passionate about educating the clients and fitness professionals of the industry on fitness philosophy, Anatomy, Biomechanics, Physiology, functional training, corrective exercises, injury management, strength & conditioning, nutrition and rehabilitation and has been delivering the same locally in India. Currently he is working as a Fitness and Yoga educator, speaker, rehab trainer, strength and conditioning coach, technical expert, CPR & first aid educator and also involved in athletic training in India and Asia pacific.
He also holds numerous professional credentials through various fitness certifying bodies in the world like, American Council on Exercise – ACE, National Strength and Conditioning Association – NSCA, Rehab Trainer Australia, Functional Training Institute Australia, Lesmills, CrankIT Australia, BOSU, TRX and AHA. He is also a Master Trainer for Rehab Trainer Australia, Functional Training Institute Australia, CrankIT Fitness Australia and American Heart Association – AHA in India. More specifically, he has respectively led and contributed to the fitness industry with fitness education, rehab training, functional training and CPR & first aid in India. He has trained 100’s of fitness professionals in India on various workshops and certifications.
Gaurav’s passion and desire to learn and grow with the fitness industry has lead to a multifaceted career as a personal trainer, coach, educator and presenter for various courses and certifications in fitness. He is also certified in and teaching some other movement based programs including – Kettle-bell, Battle-rope, TRX, BOSU, RPM, Spinning, HIIT, Bootcamp, Mobility, Group Fx, Mat Pilates, CrankIT Suspension Fitness etc.
Yoga Style: As honey is sweet from any part of the honeycomb, so is yoga. It enables every part of the human system to become attuned to its essence, the conscious seer within. Yoga alone enables the practitioner to perceive and experience the world within and around him, to touch the divine joy of all creation, and then to share that nectar of divine wealth and happiness with his fellow beings. Therefore, I follow holistic approach and follow each and every aspect of Yoga styles.
Programs I teach at Siddhi Yoga: I teach yoga anatomy, biomechanics, physiology and functional movements in Yoga to avoid injuries and correct body alignment by postural analysis. I also teach how to correct muscle imbalance, to correct pains related to low back, neck, spondylitis, arthritis, muscle strain, soft tissue injuries, hypertension, thyroid disease, asthma and pregnancy.
Favorite yoga pose: Though I love all the yoga poses, however Headstand is my favorite as it brings various benefits to body and mind, also it is called the King of Asana.
My favorite place in the world: Australia is the place, which I loved the most due to its nature and peacefulness, also since I am an outdoor person; it is the place I love to be always.
