Why I Teach I love helping others find a new state of mind and body. Yoga and meditation help us create subtle shifts and spontaneity in our lives. It is my goal to help others live in a state of ease and adventure.
Profile Shawna has practiced yoga for 8 years. With a background in Hatha Yoga, she currently creates accessible Power Vinyasa Flow sequences that place importance on long, controlled holds and pushing ourselves while moving slowly. Each class welcomes students to work on or towards the queen and king of yoga poses: shoulder stand and headstand. Relaxation poses and pranayama to center the mind are equally as important as warming up our bodies. The last quarter of class has a Yin feel.
