The session focuses on the brief introduction to the science of Ayurveda. Its ancient and modern derivations. Understanding the word “Ayurveda” in different perspectives. Its comprehensive approach towards life.
The session focuses on the origin , historical background and the philosophical connection of Ayurveda with Indian philosophy and Yogic Philosophies. Its connection with the Vedas and Upanishads for the better understanding of the self.
The session focuses on the correct understanding of Ayurveda on the basis of healing on the physical, mental and spiritual grounds. The fundamentals of Ayurveda in terms of health and healing.
In this session we will talk about the correct objective of this holistic medicine to understand the principles and methods adopted by Ayurveda for healing and knowing your inner spirituality.
It throws light on the generation of this holistic system of medicine from ancient time till today. Its eight branches and their main stream that throws insight on the growth and development of Ayurveda at that time.
It highlights the approach on understanding the human universe in the contrary concept of the ancient texts. The elemental background : role of ether, air, fire, water and earth on the external and internal universe. Their properties, behaviour and effects on us.
The session will conclude with the best tips for the healthy lifestyle and better approach for healthy and happy living . To find happiness in what we are , what we do, eat , drink and think.
Well known for her teachings worldwide, Dr. Amrita has trained thousands of aspiring yoga teachers in different parts of the world. She delivers lectures and seminars on various topics such as Ayurveda, naturopathy, stress management, chakra healing, yoga and meditation, as well as conducts special workshops on women welfare.
She began her journey in the field of health and wellness after graduating in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from an eminent university in India. After which she continued to enhance her knowledge through Ayurvedic research and further studies. Her passion for natural herbs and their medical utilities finally led her to study yoga and naturopathy in greater depth.
She is a well-known writer and her work is published in several leading health magazines. She also continues to participate in several radio talk shows to give advice on how to cure various health issues and improve lifestyle and sheds light on importance of Ayurveda.
Her belief is that true health transcends beyond the physical body and reflects one’s mental agility and spiritual wellbeing – something that can only be achieved through yoga.
